I'm surprised, but the doctors again are pleased with the progress of the wound. The culture from last week came back negative, so that's good news. But I was still on the antibiotic(s) through Saturday, so we'll see. How can a culture with antibiotics still running around be accurate? The wound is continuing to slowly close.
The surgeon gave me a new cast (red for Christmas) today. I was able to bend my foot closer to a right angle. That's nice, because now I can drive a little, comfortably.
